2. CONFIRMATION
Confirmation Practice: March 11th at 7:00pm for ALL students and sponsors. Confirmation: March 13th at 7:30pm ...students/sponsors arrive no later than 6:45. After Mass...Please join us in the Lyceum for refreshments and photographs with Bishop Serratelli.

Attention 10th Graders. Please make sure you have returned all your forms for Confirmation (name/sponsor/etc.) to Mrs. Allen ASAP! They are due March 1, 2009.

4. Confirmation Interviews
Confirmation Interviews with Fr. Kobus and Mrs. Allen will held on Monday and Tuesday: February 23 & 24 and March 2 & 3, 2009. You will be given your appointment time from Mrs. Allen. PLEASE be prepared and know the Q & A provided in the Confirmation Section of this Website. Your teachers have also provided you with a list of questions. Study, Study, Study. You want to be prepared for Confirmation. Bishop Serratelli will be asking you questions. STUDY!!!! We have FAITH in YOU and know you will be ready for Confirmation on March 13th!

6. 10th Grade Projects
All 10th Grade Confirmation students are scheduled to participate in the Thanksgiving Day Basket Delivery to Partnership for Social Services on Sunday, November 23rd, after the 12:00 Mass. See Mrs. Allen for details or call the CCD Office for more information.

7. All Souls Service
Thank you to all the CCD and Confirmation students who participated in the All Souls Day Service this past weekend. You helped to make the candle lighting ceremony very special for those who have lost a loved one this past year.

8. Call to Ministry
Any Confirmation Student wishing to become a Eucharistic Minister after Confirmation should plan on attending a Eucharistic Minister Training Session on October 27th from 7-9:30pm in the Lyceum. Remember you will be asked to participate in a Church Ministry after Confirmation and this would be one way in which you can continue your service to our Church Community.

10. Special Thanks
Special thanks to all the Confirmation Students who helped with this year's Parish Picnic. The bounce houses were great fun. The bead projects, face painting, tattoos, cotton candy, etc. all added to making this year's picnic even more special for our young parishioners. You will all receive credit hours for your participation. Thanks again!!!!!

12. Welcome Back to School
Hi Everyone, Welcome back to Religious Education Classes. We hope to see you all soon. Classes Begin: Sunday, September 14th (Picnic Project) for Confirmation Students. Regular classes begin Sunday, September 21st. Tuesday, September 16th for Grades K-4. Wednesday, September 17th for Grades 5-7.

13. Parish Picnic Help Needed
Any Confirmation student wishing to help out at the Parish Picnic, please call Mrs. Allen at 973-827-9501. We need your help with children's games, activities, jumpy house, petting zoo, senior-citizen picnic helpers, setting up and cleaning up. If you are attending the picnic this would be a good way to earn Project Hours. The picnic is September 14th...starting with Mass at noon. PLEASE consider volunteering. You will have a GREAT TIME! 14. Blood Drive Helpers Needed
Earn Confirmation Project Credit Hours: Helpers needed for the Immaculate Conception Blood Drive on 12/28 from 3-8pm. Any time you can spend helping out in the Canteen would be appreciated and count towards your Project Hours. Call the Office of Religious Education to volunteer. We need your help.

15. Dec. 16th: 8th Grade Giving Tree Gifts
On December 16th all eighth graders will participate in the Giving Tree Project.
Students in Mrs. Burns class will sort and bring the Giving Tree Gifts out to the trucks for delivery to Sr. Thomasina. (1:30-2:00)
Students in Mr. Slate's class will unpack the trucks at Partnership for Social Services on Wyker Road and arrange them inside for Sr. Thomasina. (2:00-2:30)
