Grading System and Homework Policy

   Homework

Homework varies from teacher to teacher.  Please check to make sure your child completes their assignments weekly.  It is important for students to keep up with work that has been assigned.  The homework is short and should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.  All homework serves to reinforce what has been taught in the classroom.

 Tests

Individual teachers may give intermittent quizzes as well.  This will allow not only the teacher but you, as parents, to see how your child is progressing, if he or she is retaining what is being taught or if there are areas in which your child may need extra help.

 Mass Attendance

Participation in Mass is an integral part of not only our religious education but of our life.  It is a following of the commandment set by God.  Each Mass is a unique encounter with Jesus.  With a community of believers we each can meet Him, listen to Him, talk to Him, and keep Him the center of our family life.  Students should attend one of our Sunday Mass services.
